Humble and disposable objects have always been of interest, particularly when travelling. Something very familiar at home, becomes interesting and different when in a new place, experiencing something special. These objects often find their way back home in pockets and books, only to linger waiting to be appreciated again. When stuck at home during the lockdowns of the first Covid wave, I revisited some of these objects as a way to travel and reflect on the notion of the souvenir. It was then that the MemoryMaker was born. An easy way to order, keep and appreciate the simple things that remind us of special times.
